A North Carolina group of chemists and engineers, known as Energy
Management Technologies, is looking for seed money for production,
compliance, and marketing for a new product called Nano-Tech
Lubricant. This is an engine oil additive that its main ingredient
is pulverized diamond dust.
A THOUSAND of these diamond dust particles would fit on a human
The chemists were able to infuse billions of 4-6 nanometer sized
diamond dust “ball bearings” into a wide range of oils. This
transformed the normal sliding friction to a rolling friction,
thereby substantially reducing heat, wear, and early oil failure or
breakdown. Since diamonds are the hardest element known to man, at
nanometer size the burnishing effect acts as a polisher and
The results are in and the numbers are beating expectations.
Testing in the trucking, mining, and professional race car
industries has produced significant results in each respective
application. The primary impact it is having is on bottom line
overall vehicle maintenance which comes from Nano-Tech Lubricants
ability to lower the core heat by 20% or more. This heat reduction
decreases the need for scheduled oil changes and maintenance. In
addition, the use of Nano-Tech Lubricant provides for nearly zero
wear and tear on engine parts. Completed third party tests are
showing increases in torque/power, reduced emissions, and increase
in fuel mileage efficiencies.
They are gearing up and scheduling a nationwide controlled product
roll out of the Nano-Tech Lubricant product line. The Phase-1 focus
will be on the Independent Truckers and then Fleet Operators. EMT
is currently developing a wide range of applications aimed
primarily at heat reduction, including oil additive, gear oil, and
The Nano-Tech Lubricant product line will soon be available for
additional transportation segments and even household and
commercial gas powered tools. All internal combustion engines
benefit from the Nano-Tech Lubricant Line of Products.
