Technology Development and Intellectual Property Management

Senior Scientist/Professional Engineer

Product Development ◊ Process Engineering ◊ Project Management ◊ Business Development

Prolific Leading Edge Technology Development

Developed new products, processes and leading edge processing equipment for multiple industries: semiconductor, disk, chemical, consumer products, renewable energy, waste reduction, water treatment/reuse, solar, nanotechnology and biotechnology. 4 US patents.

Intellectual Property Management

Created, implemented and managed coordinated IP strategies to maximize IP value by generating technology roadmaps, patenting novel concepts/ideas and determining whether holes in the roadmaps should be filled by internal development or outside acquisition.

Complex Problem Solving

Formed and led cross-functional teams and organized resources to solve complex technical and business problems in companies ranging in size from startup to Fortune 50 (Dow/Shell). Highly creative with an innate ability to think outside of the box and generate better solutions.

Broad Technical and Technology Flexibility

Renewable energy, waste conversion to saleable products, waste treatment, semiconductor, MEMS, nanotechnology, solar, etch/strip/clean, megasonic processing, FEOL/BEOL wafer processing and cleaning, HDI Stripping, electrochemistry, electroplating, electrochemical processing, thin-films, coatings, chemical, environmental and green processing, chemical recovery, water treatment and reuse, membranes, ozone, advanced oxidation, adhesives, electrodialysis, ion exchange, conductive polymers, plastics processing, PFD’s, P&ID’s material and energy balances, design basis, project time lines and milestones, vendor and engineering firm selection and negotiation, economic evaluation, process optimization
